tea-green scarf

In more recent knitting news, the sort which I am finally able to post about, I knit a scarf for my mother-in-law. She is very sensistive to scratchy fibres, so I chose Rowan Cotton Luxury DK in two greens which, on a computer screen, looked as though they would match. When they arrived, I was dismayed to find that they didn't match at all. Tea to the rescue! I overdyed the darker of the two greens in a bath of old earl-grey tea, and it subdued it perfectly.

Pattern: Skinny Scarf, a lengthways linen stitch scarf
Yarn: Rowan Cotton Luxury DK in Cabbage and Pistachio
Needles: US size 10
